Nilai reminds me about my University life. I used to study in Nilai University and live in Nilai for almost 3 years. Well, live in Nilai I would say much less stress due to their environment. Everything is green, but there's still have hypermarket such as Giant, etc.

Yesterday, I was invited by Rymba Haven to try their Iftar Ramadan. To be honest, I'm so excited to see what they have and I'm glad I could drop by Nilai once again.

There's so many improvements in Nilai and this is my first time I came to Nilai Perdana. What else could I say there's hidden gem that provide a good place for you to organize your event and not to mention they serve affordable and delicious food for Iftar to.

Overall, I would rate 7/10 for the venue. I quite like their concept and of course their "jungle" feel. 8/10 for the services and 6/10 for the food. I believe they could do much better than what I had yesterday. Maybe it was their first day of the event and I really hope I would have the opportunity to drop by again in future.

When I was in Jakarta for 6 months, Ibis Hotel in Indonesia is where I spend most of my time for a meeting and stay. When I move my studio from Puchong to Cheras Selatan 2-3 years ago, the first thing I saw was Ibis Hotel KL Cheras.

Since my studio is just located at the same place where Ibis Hotel KL Cheras, I always host my parents to stay in Ibis Hotel KL Cheras every time they came down to KL. What I like about Ibis Hotel KL Cheras is, their concept. It's really suitable for a business person.

Last night, I was invited by my neighbor, Ibis Hotel KL Cheras Ramadan Buffet to try out their new buffet Ramadan. Personally, I love the environment whereby you can choose to dine either open air or air conditioning. My colleague and I kind of impress with what they serve. To be honest, they do not have big space for the customer to dine yet they're still cozy and I do enjoy every moment I had.

Overall the food was good. Especially their meat such as Lamb, Satay, Siakap Tiga Rasa and not to mention their dessert too. I will go for Cendul of course.

KL Tower Ramadan Buffet - Kampung cuisine by Chef Ismail at Megaview Banquet Hall, KL Tower

Have you ever wondered what’s the feel of having your meal while looking at the view of Kuala Lumpur? Not to mention the sunset too? Yesterday, I was having my Iftar with my fiancé at Megaview Menara KL (KL Tower Megaview).

For those who don’t know, currently they are having Iftar buffet as low as RM99++ per person. The food was prepared by Chef Ismail and the team. The theme of this year Iftar is Malay Kampung food. When it comes to Malay Kampung food, you might want to consider some of the food are spicy.
The Ramadhan Buffet is priced at RM99++ for adult and RM59++ for child. From 11 June to 3 July 2016, starting from 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm at Mega View Banquet Hall, KL Tower. Enjoy the early bird special with FREE entrance ticket to Sky Deck when you purchase the buffet before 27 May 2016. Free for child from 1 to 3 years old and free entrance to KL Tower Observation Deck. 
There have a few dishes that I really love such as Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Terung Balado, Laksa Penang, Ayam Kicap Berempah and many more. Take note that the dishes that I mention is really spicy. Especially their Laksa Penang. How about dessert? Durian Sira is what I love most especially when you eat it with Roti Jala.
You can also enjoy ‘Kampung’ cuisines and many other mouth-watering delicacies carefully crafted by Chef Ismail, and don’t miss the opportunity to meet him every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday to complete your “Buka Puasa” experiences at KL Tower!
Overall the food I would rate 8/10, the environment and view 9/10 and the service is 7/10.

When it comes to Hari Raya, the first thing came to my mind is Jakel for my Baju Raya needs. Not even Baju Raya even I get my engagement outfit from Jakel. Jakel also well known for their curtain and “kain ela”. Jakel have everything I could say. Even some of my friend who sell their own Baju Raya brand took the “kain ela” from Jakel.

The story begin in 1983 when the late Mohamed Jakel Bin Ahmad started his small retail business in Muar, Johor. The company is carrying JAKEL TRADING as a trademark to its textile business to win over customers. Started with a minimum capital investment of RM30,000, Mohamed Jakel later has expended the business to Segamat, where the empire started to break people eyes that Jakel is a dominant player in its category.
In 1992, to the additional capital investment of RM500,000, JAKEL TRADING expand its operations by venturing into semi-wholesaler as well as supplying textiles to the government agencies and private sectors. JAKEL TRADING continues to be a highly developed and respected textile company between 1992 and 1997.
On the day of their Oh!! Meriahnya Raya launch, they do give out 300 "baju melayu" for free for the first 200 people and there's 30% - 80% discount for every buyer.

Another reason why Jakel has still maintained their reputation as number 1 for clothing line supplier because they keep improving their quality and add on more colors. This year, more than 200 new colors have been added to the store. Now, you can even get matching color for the whole family because Upin and Ipin collection do have matching color of the adult.

This year, each of the ambassador represent their own design. For example Aaron Aziz still maintain their original design where it’s suitable for everyone and Nabil Ahmad comes with a little bit twist. His design suitable for thin people. For Dato’ AC, Awal Ashaari, Jep Sepahtu, etc, they do have their own attraction too.

My favourite couple as usual, Awal Ashaari & Scha Alyahya. Unfortunately, their daughter, Lara Alana couldn't make it on that day.

Mr. Tuk Tuk Sunway Pyramid Thai Street Food - Tom Yam & Green Curry Ice Cream

For those who have been to Bangkok before there's only two things that you will miss most. Food and shopping. Personally, I prefer how does Bangok bring out their culture into the food. Fret not, you can get original Thailand cuisine here in Mr. Tuk Tuk. With the new outlet they launched last Friday, Mr. Tuk Tuk Sunway Pyramid is their second outlet after Setia City Mall. Personally, I would rate this Malaysia Thai Street Food 8/10.

Does Mr. Tuk Tuk bring the real Thai Food? I would say they do have the street feel by just looking at their interior and of course the food too. They tried hard to bring Bangkok to Malaysia and I glad they did because the food and the interior is completely bring up my Bangkok memories.


There's variety choices in their menu and I would recommend to go for their Tom Yam, Green Curry and set. Tom Yam is synonymous when it comes to Thai food and guess what? Their classics and hot Tom Yam has been just as good as what I had back in Bangkok.

PLUS menawarkan rebat tol sebanyak 30 peratus kepada orang ramai yang membayar tol secara elektronik menggunakan kad PLUSMiles, kad Touch 'n Go atau SmartTAG di lebuh raya PLUS bersempena dengan sambutan Hari Raya Aidilfitri yang akan datang.

Pengarah Urusan PLUS Malaysia Berhad, Dato' Noorizah Hj Abd Hamid berkata, "Rebat tol tersebut ditawarkan kepada pengguna kenderaan Kelas 1 yang membayar tol secara elektronik pada Hari-Hari Bukan Puncak iaitu 4, 8 dan 11 Julai bersempena dengan perayaan Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Ia boleh dinikmati oleh pengguna yang menggunakan lebuh raya untuk perjalanan jarak jauh iaitu melebihi 100 kilometer pada hari-hari tersebut."

Pemberian rebat tol ini adalah salah satu daripada strategi PLUS untuk mengagihkan trafik serta menggalakkan orang ramai bergerak pulang ke kampung sebelum Hari Raya Aidilfitri dan kembali ke bandar selepas berhari raya pada Hari-hari Bukan Puncak. Ia juga merupakan penghargaan kami kepada orang ramai yang terus menyokong perkhidmatan rangkaian lebuh raya kami.

Menurut Noorizah, bagi perjalanan pada 4, 8 dan 11 Julai ini, pengguna yang membayar tol menggunakan kad PLUSMiles, kad Touch 'n Go atau SmartTAG masih perlu membuat bayaran tol seperti biasa, tetapi rebat tol 30 peratus tersebut boleh ditebus dalam bentuk tambah nilai di antara 15 Ogos 2016 sehingga 14 November 2016 akan datang di semua pusat khidmat pelanggan di lebuh raya PLUS.

PLUS akan turut mengambil pelbagai langkah lain untuk membantu orang ramai menikmati perjalanan yang lebih selesa pada musim perayaan yang akan datang. Ia termasuklah mengeluarkan Jadual Cadangan Waktu Perjalanan (TTA) dan lain-lain lagi.

PLUS will be offering 30 percent toll rebate to the public paying toll electronically via PLUSMiles and Touch 'n Go card or SmartTAGs for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad Managing Director, Dato' Noorizah Hj Abd Hamid said, "The toll rebate will be given to Class 1 Vehicle users paying toll electronically on Off-Peak Days on 4, 8 and 11 July in conjunction with the Hari Raya. It is is offered to those travelling more than 100 kilometres on the PLUS highways."

The rebate is part of an initiative to distribute the traffic and to encourage the public to travel on Off-Peak Days. It is also an effort to reward the highway users and the public.

According to Noorizah, the public paying toll electronically will still be required to pay the full toll charges on 4, 8 and 11 July. However, the 30 percent toll rebate (in a form of toll reload) can be redeemed at all PLUS customer service centres between 15 August 2016 and 14 November 2016.

PLUS has also finalised other approaches and strategies to help the public enjoy smoother travel on the highways during the upcoming festive season. This includes the issuance of the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) and others.

During IOI City Mall Putrajaya first open their door to the public, I came to witness their opening ceremony as media and I'm so impressed with the amount of food outlet they do have. Since my studio is just located a stone throw away, IOI City Mall Putrajaya is always being my first place came into my mind whenever I need a break such as watching movie and shopping.

If you happen to be in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, I strongly advise you to give  57 Hotpot & Asian Cuisine Restaurant a try. Basically, it is all about steamboat and Asian cuisine. Located on the second floor at IOI City Mall, the restaurant had a really nice decoration, unique 'peacock' design and theme.

I was invited by my neighbor, Ibis Hotel KL Cheras Ramadan Buffet to try out their new buffet Ramadan. Personally, I love the environment whereby you can choose to dine either open air or air conditioning. My colleague and I kind of impress with what they serve. To be honest, they do not have big space for the customer to dine yet they're still cozy and I do enjoy every moment I had.

The Ramadan Buffet with BBQ by The Streats Cafe serves up a delectable buffet spread of traditional Malaysian delicacies from 7 June to 3 July. Don't miss out the Early Bird offer at RM49+ per person!

Nilai reminds me about my University life. I used to study in Nilai University and live in Nilai for almost 3 years. Well, live in Nilai I would say much less stress due to their environment. Everything is green, but there's still have hypermarket such as Giant, etc.

I was invited by Rymba Haven to try their Iftar Ramadan. To be honest, I'm so excited to see what they have and I'm glad I could drop by Nilai once again.


Overall, I would rate 7/10 for the venue. I quite like their concept and of course their "jungle" feel. 8/10 for the services and 6/10 for the food. I believe they could do much better than what I had yesterday. Maybe it was their first day of the event and I really hope I would have the opportunity to drop by again in future.

Kajang is well known for their Satay. What if, I tell you there have something worth to dine other than Satay? But if you really crave for Kajang Satay, they do sell too. So, where to dine in Kajang? I would recommend  Restoran Kantan Hotplate.


Recently we were invited by an old school singer, Amir Pearl. He invited us to try his new restaurant known as  Kantan Hotplate. Well, he just runs this restaurant for 23 days. They served West Asia cuisine. A combination of Western and Cuisine.

Personally, I give 5/10 for their Asian food and 7/10 for their Western food.

PTPTN Barred Me From Leaving Malaysia. What should you do to clear up your name?

Recently I was barred to leave Malaysia due to PTPTN outstanding payment. Since I run my photography studio and video production company, I had difficulties to pay right after I graduate. So there's some outstanding payment (not a huge amount) and I got bared. A year after I graduate, I started to pay monthly (I did paid extra to cover up my outstanding).

The main reason why Malaysian get barred by PTPTN is your outstanding payment. As usual when it comes to Hari Raya, I'm going back to Singapore with my family for a celebration. So, I need to go out of Malaysia and make sure my name is clear.

I just went to the PTPTN branch to clear up my name. So, this is what you should do if you got barred from leaving Malaysia by PTPTN.

What should you do?
1 : Go to the nearest PTPTN office / branch.
2 : Check with them how much is your pending payment.
3 : Make a payment.
4 : Your name will be clear from leaving Malaysia within 7 working days or less.

What's the solution
1 : Make a full payment of the outstanding payment or make full payment for the entire debt.
2 : Make half of the outstanding payment. PTPTN will reschedule your fees and it is totally your last choice because your debt will be increased.

In my case, I did pay my outstanding payment and will clear all my debt by the end of the year since I can save up to RM4000 due to their RM20/month service fee / Ujrah.

So, do check your Status of Immigration ControlHERE!

Balik Raya with Volkswagen Jetta Sport

Do you know what is the best Hari Raya Balik Kampung moment for me this year? Of course, driving back this lovely boy over here. Let me introduce you the Jetta Sport from Volkswagen. Well, there's few quick things I like about this boy is... Everything. I love the turbo, auto cruise, car boot size, fuel tank capacity and much more.

I will do more review about it on my next post. Allowed me to enjoy my Raya first ya hehehe


Auto Cruise. Travelling back to the south can be very tiring especially when it is more than 300KM. Well, thank you to Jetta Sport from Volkswagen because I could rest my leg by using their Auto Cruise function. It's really easy, just press the auto cruise button.

Fuel Tank. Travel long journey is no longer an issue when you have a big fuel tank. I don't need to do a lot of pit stop.

Car boot size. When it comes to Raya, my family and I tend to bring the entire kampung to Singapore. Well, every year my parents will bring a lot of cookies for my relatives.

Till then. Selamat Hari Raya and thank you Volkswagen Malaysia for loan me this car. My family and I totally love it.

Cyberjaya is just a stone throw away from my house, but I never knew there had a mall. So, recently went down to DPulze Cyberjaya. I would say there have many reasons why should I go there again. They have groceries, cinema and of course they do have plenty Makan place.

Among the food stall, there has one cafe that you won't be missed if you walking around in the mall. Let me introduce you to Campur Campur Kitchen. You can get variety Indonesia, Chinese & Thailand cuisine. Not to mention they do have interesting decor and cozy environment too. You may want to consider this on your next trip to DPulze Cyberjaya.

One of the most important things when it comes to cafe/restaurant, the menu. Personally, I like their menu because I can understand every single of it since they put up a picture of the dish. So, you know what you order.

Overall, I would say the food is good and worth for the money. If you happen to be at DPulze Cyberjaya, you should give them a try. For me, I definitely will come again for a meal if I happen to be at Cyberjaya.

Food : 8/10
Service : 7/10
Environment : 7/10

One of their attractions is the "Air Mentol". It's a shape of a light bulb and it comes in two flavors. There are 2 types of flavor. Lemonade carbonated soda and Ice Green Mint. Only RM8.90 and I like the green mint because it's a juice flavor.

Another drink you should try is their Coffee in Hong Kong if you a coffee person and you also should try Thai Ice Tea. Only RM4.90 and it comes in old school "teko".

Bangkok Jazz Crabmeat Fried Rice In Lotus Leaf @ RM11.90
The fried rice is wrapped in Lotus leaf. If you guys feel like trying something different , try the fried rice. Not only tasty but I love the aroma that came out right after I open up the lotus leaf.

Salted Egg Yolk Chicken with Rice @ RM14.90
My favorite on the menu. The chicken is tasty and it fried and cooked with eggs. It comes with a set of rice, egg salad, sambal and chicken wing.
