As a photographer and video maker myself, I always have to make sure I do have enough storage for my data. My normal usage monthly can simply up to 1TB. I always shoot for event and press conference. Usually event/press conference they need immediate photo. Not only I have to get the right shot (composition, focus, brightness, color, etc.) on the spot I also have to make sure I can deliver to them perfectly right after the event. Since usually those gig or press conference does not have time for me to edit my photos, I have to make sure I'm prepared.

One my main concern is time. Usually I have to transfer all my data right after the event. Afraid not, with the current technology, Western Digital has come out with a  brilliant hard disk known as My Passport Wireless. Yes, you heard me. WIRELESS.

One thing I like about this WD My Passport Wireless is I can transfer right away and up to 8 people can download the data at the same time. WD My Passport Wireless have their own wireless. I own few different DSLR and some of it have Wi-Fi features such as Canon 6D. Means that I can directly transfer my data to the hard disk. What I usually did was my other camera such as Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 1DX who do not have Wi-Fi features, I put my SD card in the hard disk and use another SD to shoot and I repeat the same process once the SD card is full. Meanwhile, since the data is transferred to the hard disk, my client can easily access to the hard disk (with password protected) and download the photo. Some of them took the photo and did a live update.

Nowadays, everyone tries to Super Jimat in their daily spend. Well, speaking for our salary that never increase compared than our daily expenses, we tend to cut costs in every single thing that we think we can. However, eating out is something that hard to avoid, especially when you have to work on the ground like me. As a photographer and video maker, I'm always being out of the studio. Whenever I went to Thailand, the floating market is always coming into my top list. What else you can ask for other than local food made by local people. For those who went to Thailand before, I believe their tea is something that you must try.

Night Run is back with a roar inspiring runners to push their own boundaries and achieve personal bests

Kuala Lumpur, March 29, 2016 – PUMA is all set to flag off the third edition of its PUMA Night Run Malaysia at the Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam, Selangor on 20 August 2016. With 10,000 slots available for registration, this will be PUMA Malaysia’s biggest Night Run event to date. 2016 also marks the first year in which the Night Run will be held at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam instead of Setia Alam, where it was organised in the past.

Philippe Le-Bretton, General Manager, South East Asia said “We're excited to bring back a bigger and better night run to Malaysia this year. As we enter the third series of our Night Run here, we want to give even more inspired Malaysian runners an opportunity to cross their own personal line and enjoy the run whether they are experienced athletes or beginners”.

Pumpkin Seed
Research suggests that pumpkin seed oil and pumpkin seeds may be beneficial in supporting prostate health as well as treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH, or enlarged prostate).  It is reported that pumpkin seeds have protective compounds known as phytosterols, which might be responsible for shrinking the prostate. They also offer chemicals that may prevent some transformation of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is associated with enlarged prostate.

Richard Branson once said. Take care your employees and they will take care of your business. Every Friday, we try to avoid driving. We prefer to use Uber or Grabcar. Since last week we have to leave our studio as early as 6.30am and end our shoot at 6.30pm (peak hours), we took ‪#‎GrabCar‬ instead of driving. At least our crew can have enough rest.

The journey (Cheras Selatan - KL - Cheras Selatan) that usually took us 30 min (one way) turn out to be 2 hours journey (one way).

Pudding Recipe - Yeo's laici pudding

Every time when it comes to Ramadhan, preparing dessert has been always my task. Ever since I came to Kuala Lumpur to further my studies, I spent most of my Ramadhan in Kuala Lumpur.

However, as a tradition, the first day of Ramadhan is important for me to celebrate at my hometown, Johor Bharu. I’m a dessert person and if there has one dessert that I always prepare for my family, the answer is of course Puding Laici. Well, it’s just a simple dessert that I always prepare for my family. The reason why I use Yeo’s Laici as the main ingredient because my family and I totally trust the brand due to their goodness & Halalness


Ingredient
10gm/1 packet of jelly (any color)
5 cups of water
8 spoons of sugar
1 can of condensed milk
1 box of Yeo’s of lychee
1 can of lychee (for the fruit)

Method
1. Cook the jelly with water until boiling.
2. Put in sugar and wait until it's boiling.
3. Switch off the stove and put in lychee and condensed milk.
4. Put in the Pudding cup and keep in the fridge.
5. Ready for the serve.

Since I'm getting married end of the year, my working life seems to be better. For the past few months, I have been really busy with short films and commercial shoot. Well, production life can sometimes be really stressful but at the same time it's really fun. The reason why I keep doing what I'm doing right now because of my passion.

Yesterday CVS Production crew and I just completed our Hari Raya commercial shoot with Tasha Manshahar. 21 hours and 30min of shoot. Thank you to the crews and the talents for making it possible.

57 Hotpot & Asian Cuisine Restaurant at IOI City Mall Putrajaya

During IOI City Mall Putrajaya first open their door to the public, I came to witness their opening ceremony as media and I'm so impressed with the amount of food outlet they do have. Since my studio is just located a stone throw away, IOI City Mall Putrajaya is always being my first place came into my mind whenever I need a break such as watching movie and shopping.

If you happen to be in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, I strongly advise you to give  57 Hotpot & Asian Cuisine Restaurant a try. Basically, it is all about steamboat and Asian cuisine. Located on the second floor at IOI City Mall, the restaurant had a really nice decoration, unique 'peacock' design and theme.

Overall, I would say 8/10 for the food and 8.5/10 for the deco. The food is just good and if you really into hotpot or steamboat, this is the place you must give a try.

What else should I try other than their hotpot signature. In 57 Hotpot, they do have a total of 5 soup base to choose from. Fret not, they plan to increase the number of soup base very soon, adding more variety of tastes. At the moment they are having Hot and spicy soup, Tom Yam Gong, Chicken Soup, Penang Curry Soup & Ox Bone Soup.

The current promotion : RM79.90 (for 2pax), diners get to try out their promotional hotpot, consisting of a whole lot of seafood, lamb, chicken, vegetables and a whole lot more.

Most of the utensils is caming all the way from China in order for them to bring the Chinese and Asian feel in the restaurant. Other than that, there's plenty of menu that you shouldn't miss such as BBQ Lamb, Noodles, Squid, etc.

With over 100 Malaysian and International dishes plus 7 forms of live entertainment every Ramadan evening, you would be delighted with this new and innovative way in which to celebrate the upcoming Ramadan. Recently I paid Skybox a visit. Located at KL Tower Skydeck, it was unforgettable and magnificent experience. Thank you Kak Ella& KL Tower for having me. For those who don't know, The Sky Box is actually made up entirely from transparent glass. The reason is of course to offer visitors a spectacular 360 degree view of Kuala Lumpur city with a height of 300 metres above ground level. So please make sure there's no jumping or extreme pose yeah.

Bila berada di atas, jangan lupa pandang ke bawah.
Bila rasa diri itu hebat, ingat Allah maha berkuasa.

Tak kira di mana kita berada, atas atau bawah, syukur dan jangan mudah selesa dengan keadaan kita. Sebab yang di atas boleh jatuh, yang di bawah boleh naik.

Kantan Hotplate in Kajang - Halal western & asian restaurant

Kajang is well known for their Satay. What if, I tell you there have something worth to dine other than Satay? But if you really crave for Kajang Satay, they do sell too. So, where to dine in Kajang? I would recommend  Restoran Kantan Hotplate.

Recently we were invited by an old school singer, Amir Pearl. He invited us to try his new restaurant known as  Kantan Hotplate. Well, he just runs this restaurant for 23 days. They served West Asia cuisine. A combination of Western and Cuisine.

Personally, I give 5/10 for their Asian food and 7/10 for their Western food.

T-Bone Steak Hot Plate (RM31.90) & Hot Plate Kantan Special (RM18.90). T-Bone Steak is served with potato wedges, fresh vegetables and of course you can choose either black paper, garlic or mushroom for the sauce. For Kantan Special, the lamb grilled come with potato wedges and fresh vegetables. Just look at the photo. The portion of the side dish. Trust me, the portion of the wedges is damn huge.

Bawal Hot Plate (RM9.90). It comes with 1 plate of rice and served with Kantan sambal recipe with Kasturi slice. If you need something classic yet Asian grilled fish, you can choose from their fish selection. They do have Bawal, Kembung, Cencaru & Pari. For me, I prefer Bawal for the grill.

Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes (RM5.90). If you are looking for something light yet filling, this is something that you may want to consider.

Nasi Goreng Salmon with Seafood Soup (RM12.90). I'm not really fan of their Salmon fried rice just simply maybe I prefer less cook for my Salmon.
