I love Malaysia. It's really fun to see how does Malaysian have different perspective in bringing the message through the video. From amateur to professional, Yeo's Malaysia manage to provide a platform to the young and talented Malaysia filmmaker.
Last year, the contest starts from 31 August 2015 in conjunction of 'National Day' and the closing date for submission is by 31 October 2015 (Extended to 31 December 2015). It was joined by the numbers of people and only few are selected as the finalist.

Dick Chua
Dick has always dreamed in becoming a film director. After graduating from The One Academy, Dick furthered his study at the Vancouver Film School.
He started off in the 3D animation industry, and later built up his career as an animator. His first directed short film “Live Life” won nominations in Calgary Fringe Film Festival and Akira Kurosawa Memorial Short Film Competition in Japan. With an enthusiastic passion in storytelling and film-making, he began involving himself in many local productions such as feature films, commercials, and documentaries.
In 2009, Dick directed his first feature documentary entitled “The Negative Effect”. In 2010, Dick founded D Moving Pictures. Together with his production team, Dick has shot a thriller short film, “The Bloody Fish”. With this short film, Dick has been selected for the Young Director Award by CFP-E. Since that, Dick has also directed numerous TV commercials, music videos and program series. Those clients included Canon, My FM, Petronas, Citibank, Maxis, Olaiye, Joven, Kinohimitsu, S P Setia, Astro and etc.
In 2012, Dick and together with his team, shot another thriller short film titled “Murdered” has won six awards in BMW Shorties 2012 competition including the best film. In 2013, Dick has came out with the third short film of the thriller-trilogy, “Pizza” which inspired by the actual crimes stories of kidnapping cases that took place many years ago.
Osman Ali
A former student of the Academy Film Malaysia, Osman Ali is steadily carving his name as a feature film director. He is versatile, creative and most of all, as a talented storyteller, combining creative elements in Storytelling with a very local flavor.
Known for his more risqué works, the annual Bukak Api (a story of transvestites in Kuala Lumpur) and his short film Angel in the Window (An angel on the windoesill), he is able to write and direct his scripts. The scripts range from comedy, the annual Toll Gate Girl, to Standard and poor serious telemovies, The annual Teenage Letter to the Moon and house, My world. Osman short films received awards at International Film Festivals in Cannes and Rotterdam. He has written this film based on a short story which won the Best Experimental Film at the Malaysian Video Awards in 2001 and was selected for Director Fortnight at Cannes in 2001.
Osman has also directed numerous TV commercials, music videos and program series. Those clients included Maybank, Petronas, Telekom, Hotlink, Singapore Tourism Board and etc. In 2008, Osman produce Siti Nurhaliza music video titled “Bisakah”.
In 2009, Osman and his team directed famous movie titled CUN! This later won Best Director in Anugerah Skrin 2011. Osman then came out with “Ombak Rindu” taken from the famous novel that hit the cinemas and became phenomenon.
