Jakarta is always my top priority when it comes to Indonesia. This time I will be travelling for a short meeting and photo shooting and not to mention attending my buddy's wedding. As usual, my bad habits. Last minute packing. These are my important stuff that I have to bring when I travelling. Cuma tak ada #travellingberuang je. Nanti nak pi beli.

I need a reason to buy a new travel bag. I think this trip can be very good excuses. Finally found compact and light travel bag that I like. Not so big or small. Just nice for few days outstation. Anything that I shouldn't miss while I'm in Jakarta?

The title said everything. I just reach Malaysia and tomorrow I will be leaving again. I was in Jakarta for almost a week and I can't wait to come down to Jakarta again. Maybe I should say I can't wait to set up my new business over here and own a property. For the meantime, I have new responsibility back in Malaysia. At least for the next two years time.

Thanks to the haze, Indonesia. Don't worry. I still love you. Lucky there's no haze in Jakarta.

Things that I loved about Indonesia, especially Jakarta is their ideas. I love how they play with advertising, cool car design, beautiful house concept and not to mention their mall to.
Went to the first Aeon Mall in Indonesia. They have nice and beautiful chill out place. Just outside the mall. How I wish they did this in Malaysia too.

Indonesia, you never fail to impress me. Great.

As usual when I came down to Indonesia, Bebek (duck) and Iga is a must. I love Bebek as much as I love my job. This is what I call it as Lepas Geram hahaha

Congratulations to both of you for your big day. I look fat in this photo, but because it's your big day, I still will post it up hahaha

Their marriage proves that long distance relationship is legit hahaha. Malacca - Indonesia. Who said it can't work? As long you have gives and take, everything is possible.

Make sure both of you attend my wedding. If it's happen.

I'm missing this girl badly. Can't wait to go back Malaysia but then need to go outstation again tomorrow. Rindu itu fitrah. Kawal melalui iman. Salur dengan doa.

Federal Hotel & The 1st Revolving Restaurant in Malaysia - Wagyu beef, Colonial Chicken and Love

I just got back from Jakarta, Indonesia and the next day I have to leave to Federals Hotel International Kuala Lumpur for work. I'm staying here for 3 days 2 nights and it was really convenient since it's located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. You can just walk down and everything is there. Plaza Lowyat, Bukit Bintang, etc. What else you ask for?

My room is Merdeka Wing Room (RM800/night). Special thanks to Projek Travel & Federal Hotels Kuala Lumpur for the experience.

The workstation. They have such a good and comfortable workstation for me to do my work and of course it come with a high speed internet connection. I will do a proper review in my next post and this is just a quick recap how my room looks like and what I had for dinner at Bintang Revolving Restaurant. It is supposed to be a view of the Kuala Lumpur city skyline at night, thanks to the haze, I see nothing.

Dumping Station for Photographer and Video Producer - WD My Passport Ultra (3TB) Premium Storage

As a photographer and video producer, I must have zero mistake. Especially when dealing with customer data such as footage. Sometime, unpredictable incident happened, but I have been working in this industry for more than 5 years and mistake is not an excuse. There has reason why I choose WD as my hard disk since I only trust the best.

Some people think the price of WD is expensive compare than other until you realize the price that you have to pay when you lose client data and trust.

It was a sleepless night for the past few days. Ngantuk gila. Tadi drive kereta satu pun dah nampak jadi dua. Rasa nak balik terus tido but procedure is procedure. They said work as photographer & video producer is easy they said.

I have to transfer all the footage & data to my portable "dumping station" before I can call it a day. I’m afraid if something happened to my memory card.

Since I have so many footage & crew per project, it's important to put every data and footage in "dumping station". Usually we will transfer the footage and data to "Hot storage" for editing process and after everything completes, then only we will keep it in "Cold Storage". So who said is just a copy and paste data? Thank god, WD has the reliable hard drive.

I make my WD My Ultra Passport (3TB) as my portable dumping station because it's portable and have bigger capacity. 

I own a studio, CVS Production in Cheras (we do offer studio rental too) but sometime I prefer to do my work at the cafe. What else could be better other than a cup of ice cappuccino while working?

Since we are always on standby, sometimes we even transfer the data and footage during our dinner time. We try to make it convenient and we prefer to directly go back home rather than a studio.

I'm tired of using bulky hard disk. It's time to go for something portable and can be trusted.

New Malaysia Driving License Renewal (Ready less in 10 minutes) - Fees, How and Where to renew?

Last month, I went to the KLCC Post Office to renew my license. I was quite surprised. The services were very efficient. I get my new driving license within less than 10 minutes. Good job.

Tips: Keep your old driving  license. Use it whenever you have to give your drivers license to the security guard. In that case, your driving license will maintain new.

How to renew your driving license?
•  Go to your nearest JPJ branch / Post office (http://www.jpj.gov.my/hubungi-kami / http://www.pos.com.my/post-offices/outlet-locations/?pos-malaysia-outlets)
•  Get your Q Number for the counter
•  Present your IC, indicates renewal durations (1/ 2/ 5 years).
•  Make an immediate payment at the counter.
•  They will issue a slip -do submit the slip to the respective counter.
•  Wait for your name to be called
•  Your new driving license will be ready in 10 minutes.

How much?
•  RM30/year.

As Johorean myself, I have never been to Angry Birds Activity Park. During my previous trip to Johor with Projek Travel and Malaysia Tourism, I manage to enjoy myself at one of the Malaysia indoor theme park. I used to get addicted to an Angry Birds game and tell me, who don't?

Laman Seni 7 Shah Alam is not a new thing for the street art lover. It's good to see that government took initiative to operate and provide a proper place for those who hunger for creativity. I manage to drop by this hidden gem right after Karnival Usahawan Belia 2015 press conference, so we decided to do a quick and simple photoshoot.

We went there right after the rain stop and that's why there's no one there. Usually it will be crowded.

Singapore Over the Weekend #CeritaFF - Buying engagement ring

Fatin and I just got back from Singapore yesterday. So, this a recap what we did over there. Meet up with some of our wedding sponsors, buying an engagement ring, brought her around, shopping, etc.

YES! I'm getting engage. Soon, really soon. 

The day before we went down to Singapore, we drop by to meet up with one of our wedding sponsors. I will talk more about it later on.

The first thing we did in Singapore upon arrival is to get ourself internet connection. We use Singtel hi Tourist SIM card. Totally worth it. SGPD15 for 5 days and you can get 100GB of data. For more information, HERE!

This is her first time in Singapore, so I treat her like a tourist. Brought her to "must-visit-place-in-Singapore" from morning till night. 

People said Singapore is clean. She approves it hahaha 

 Did a quick shopping for her family and friends.

Grew up in Singapore, I must admit fast food is a must. Well, McD Singapore is really good. Chicken nugget with Curry sauce and French Fries shaker seaweed flavour is a must.

Cheap but good. Nostalgic. This is what they call "Singapore Ice cream". SGPD1.20. Easy to find at the tourist attraction. You can go for bread or biscuits.

Yes, it was raining cats and dog, but well, the trip must go on. Went to a sex shop in Bugis Street, hahaha just kidding. 

Every country have the city of light. Unfortunately, the Merlion is under construction. So, the photo of Marina Bay Sand is much nicer.

They said, women are full of thought they said.

Crazy Bites Burger SS15 Subang Jaya - What and where to eat in SS15

SS15 is also well known as food heaven for Subang / Sunway residents. Not to mention Taylor's and Inti students are one of the main reason why there's plenty of cafe/restaurant. However, some of the cafe is overrated due to demand and supply. Soon there will have the new LRT/MRT station. So, it is going to be easy-access to people who hate parking problems like me.

Cafe Latte is one of their signature.

There's few burger joints in SS15. One of the must-visit-burger-joints in SS15 is The Crazy Bites. Well, if you are looking for nice food that comes with an affordable price and plenty big space, The Crazy Bites are the answer.

Do you want me to elaborate more regarding their interior? I think let the photo do the talking. What else you are looking for other than colorful yet full with their pink mascot named Kirikuru to bring up the cheerful vibe.

The second floor is the indoor seating area. The second floor seating is divided by two area. Open air and air conditioned. 

One thing I like about the interior is their color. Well, I think the kids going to love it.

If you are looking for something ordinary yet tasty, I would recommend their Nasi Lemak. Basically, it's a Malaysia local cuisine that comes with pandan infused rice, fried chicken, hard boiled eggs, sambal, anchovies, peanuts & sliced cucumber. What is the star of the dish? Their homemade sambal.

Baked potato loaded with cheese & marinara sauce. Get ready for the fart hahaha

Calamari Ring RM13.80
Deep-fried calamari rings served with a side of green. They could improve their coating.

Goat Bites (Lamb) RM16.80
For those who know me, I'm a huge fan of lamb. Well, the first thing that I was searching in their menu is their lamb burger. This thick lamb patty accompanied by deep-fried onion rings, lettuce & cheese. Not to mention, this is their signature burgers.

Honolulu Ox Bites (Beef) RM13.80
Other than lamb, I'm also a fan of beef. If you are looking for something simple yet tasty, you may want to consider Ox Bites for a very beefy meal.

Apple Mushroom Bites - RM13.80
If you are vegetarian, don't worry. They have vegetarian Apple Mushroom Bites. For me, this is kinda unique. Imagine the combination of crunchy slice of apple with mushrooms. What else you looking for?

I'd always been a fan of sweet potatoes. If you think this potato you want to skip the potato, you may regret. We ask for additional potato. What makes it interesting yet tasty? They combine the purple and orange sweet potatoes and mix with some sugar. It's freaking good. I don't mind to come back again just for the potato.

Lamb Kofta Pasta RM16.80
Let's talk about the pasta shall we? As I mentioned earlier, I'm a huge fan of lamb. If you are looking for a pasta, you may want consider their Lamb Kofta. It's perfectly grilled minced lamb patty. What makes it interesting? Of course topped with melted cheese!

Seafood Aglio Olio RM15.80
Other than that, you may want to try out  their Aglio Olio. One of my favorite menus in the kitchen for my diet. I always cook Aglio Olio and usually I just add in chicken or Salmon for my protein intake. Their Aglio Olio comes with prawns, squids and mussels

Bon appetite.

I'm not a fan of pizza, but if you are looking for something light yet satisfied your hunger, there have plenty selection of pizza. This is my top 3 choices. The pizza comes with a basic thin crust and oblong shape instead of the usual circular pizza. Each of the Pizza comes with a basic topping and sauce end with cheesy cheese.

Kontiki Restaurant at The Federal Kuala Lumpur - Tunku Abdul Rahman Hotel

During my previous visit at The Federal Kuala Lumpur, I manage to try out their Revolving Restaurant. I came across to this lovely and cozy Restaurant known as Kontiki. Located on Mezzanine Level, this restaurant offers you a variety of food from a buffet to a la carte. If you can't decide either Asian or Continental, Kontiki is the answer where you can have both

Open daily.

Buffet Breakfast from 6.30am - 10.30am
Buffet Lunch from 12 noon - 2.30pm
Buffet Dinner from 6.30pm - 10pm

Kontiki was the raft used by Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl in his 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands. It was named after the Inca sun god, Viracocha, from whom “Kon-Tiki” was said to be an old name. Considered the creator god, he was the father of all other Inca gods and it was he who formed the earth, heavens, sun, moon and all living beings. Air Asia Food - Chicken Rice & Tomato Rice

Everytime, when I have to travel for a business trip to Jakarta, Air Asia is always my first choice. Last month during my trip to Jakarta, I did try their Chicken Rice and Tomato Rice. Take note that if you pre-booked meals while buying your ticket online, you will receive a complimentary drink.

P/S: I have to put my watermark in the middle of the photo because Oh Bulan stealing my photo and remove the watermark. HERE!

Some people said their Nasi Lemak is a must try dish, but for me, I will vote for this one. I never miss my Chicken Rice when I travel with Air Asia. Dear Air Asia, if you are reading this, maybe you want to consider adding on black ketchup as seasoning. Everything is good just that I need some salty stuff to give extra kick.

To be honest, I hate tomato. Well, not bad for the first time. I'm definitely going to give it another round because it's rich with vegetables and chicken.
