Whenever I went down to Times Square, I always had difficulties to find good and affordable food. Since I'm quite lazy to walking around inside the mall, I always end up to dine at Rasa Utara. Personally I do really love their food. Not only it's affordable but it's also truly "Utara" food.
I always set my appointment at Rasa Utara if there's any meeting happen in KL/Times Square.
If you are looking for authentic northern delicacies, northern original recipes I would say, then Rasa Utara is the right place for you. They really serve good northern food. The restaurant is located conveniently in Times Square and is easily accessible by public transport like buses and monorail.
Overall, I would give 8/5 for their authentic utara dishes with pretty reasonable price and highly recommended. There’s plenty of signature dishes and what I like most is their Terung Belado and Cendul for the dessert. If you prefer something western, Their Chicken Chop is something that you shouldn't miss. I am definitely would be making a revisit back there.
