This morning I witnessed the launch of the ASEAN International Film Festival And Awards that took place at KLPAC. There's so many artists who came to show a support of AIFFA15.
OBJECTIVE- The ASEAN International Film Festival And Awards furthers the art and craft of ASEAN filmmaking by inspiring and championing the work of screenwriters, filmmakers and all artists who use the language of film to tell a story.- Our films help promote our culture, tradition and heritage towards a convergence for ASEAN as an entity by 2015- Promote ASEAN films to the international market- Promote collaborations and networking within the ASEAN film industry- Provide business opportunities for film distributors and exihibitors (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions)- Attract tourism and filmakers to Malaysia
The AIFFA Filmmart is the business networking aspect, created especially for ASEAN delegates who will have the opportunity to meet among themselves and counterparts from Hollywood, Bollywood and other film capitals of the world.
It is especially useful for filmmakers, film distributors and those who want B to B meetings to explore film ventures together.
